The control panel for the driving simulator is a powerful tool for instructors to observe and improve the behavior of their students. It consists of a desktop PC with two large monitors and is equipped with special software that allows the instructor to follow the student's , change perspectives and view replays. In addition the instructor can trigger events and record sequences. The control panel also offers management functions that make it possible to store and archive driver data, their results and replay data. It is even possible to control several simulators with one instructor by using a variant with three monitors. For transportation, a notebook version with a display is also available for transportation
This special camera can be purchased as an option and is mounted on the center monitor of the simulator. It makes it possible to check the driver's head position to ensure that he can see into side roads and perform the shoulder view. If the driver does not perform these actions, the simulator generates corresponding error messages and displays the recorded image of the driver in the replay or on the optionally available control panel.
An optional Telligent switch can be added to the simulator. This semi-automatic gearshift can be operated in automatic mode and with the clutch pedal
The simulator is versatile and can also be used as a car simulator. Various software modules are available for this purpose, which are described in more detail in the corresponding brochures. It is also possible to expand the automatic gearshift with an H-gear shift with 7 gears.
